• Shotley (Northumberland) baptisms 1675-1812 (1,609 baptisms). This marks our first foray into Northumberland records. Shotley is adjacent to the County Durham parishes of Edmundbyers, Muggleswick, and Medomsley. We will follow this set shortly with the marriages and burials of Shotley parish for the same time period. These burials are from Ron Nubley’s West Durham Index, which we are in the process of integrating into our collection, so when you buy one of these, you will immediately get the brief index entry, and the full entry will be transcribed and emailed to you within 3 days, at which point it becomes part of our database and you can view it again at any time.
  • The Districts box on the Search form now contains a separate section for Northumberland at the bottom.
  • On the Parish Records page, you’ll see a new table at the bottom, to show you what Northumberland records we have (currently just Shotley baptisms, but this table will grow!). Also, the Transcription Samples section has been moved to its own page and added to the navigation menu.
