565 baptisms 1813-1817 at Jarrow St. Paul. From January to the end of August in 1813, the clerk continued including the maiden surnames of mothers (as he would have been directed to do in earlier years), but after that he stopped. Sample:

• 6 Jan 1816 Agnes Storey Arrowsmith, of Jarrow Colliery, daughter of William Arrowsmith (shipwright) & Mary
