Jarrow burials 1813-1819

492 burials at Jarrow St. Paul from 1813 to the end of 1819, from the Bishop’s Transcript.  This marks our first offering of burials in the South Shields district. Residents at this time mostly resided at Jarrow Colliery and Hebburn Colliery; other abodes mentioned include Jarrow, Hebburn, Hedworth, Howden, Monckton, Newcastle (just across the river), South Shields & the colliery there, and Templetown.

We will continue our coverage of Jarrow baptisms and burials to 1837, then we will backtrack and do 1798-1812 and pre-1798.
