Sunderland Cemetery burials 1897-1900

2,674 burials at Sunderland Cemetery (Stockton Rd, Grangetown) covering 1897-1900. As usual, most records include a parent, spouse, or occupation. Some samples:

Staindrop baptisms 1822-1854, added witnesses to marriages 1813-37

1,825 baptisms at Staindrop in Teesdale district for 1822-1825 and 1827-1854, from the Bishop’s Transcript. We will add 1826 from the parish register next week. Residences mentioned include Alwent, Cleatlam, Darlington, Gibsknees, Hilton, Hulam, Ingleton, Keverstone, Langleydale, Mulberry, New Raby, Raby Castle & surroundings, Shotton, Staindrop, and Wackerfield. 1,382 burials at Lamesley St. Andrew’s in Chester-le-Street district covering 1765 to March 1789. These are from a combination of the Bishop’s Transcript and the parish register; if a record does not list a source, it is from the parish register.
