520 marriages at Darlington St. Cuthbert from 1 Jan 1786 to 14 May 1798, joining up with our previous set of marriages to give us continuous marriages here from 1786 to mid-1837. The marriage register is very faded and hard to read the further back you go. The good news is that the clerk included the occupations of most of the grooms, which was not done in every parish in this period, and all witnesses are included.
