Shotton with Haswell marriages 1854-1939 updated

Updated 1,749 marriages at Shotton with Haswell (St. Saviour) from 1854 to March 1939 and added 39 new marriages to finish out 1939. To the existing marriages, we added occupations, marital statuses, abodes, occupations of fathers, and witnesses – all the information from the register that had previously been omitted.

Sample marriages before the update:

  • 14 Aug 1919 Harry Charles Feetham, age 45, son of Robert Feetham (deceased) married Catherine Tate (widow), age 25, daughter of William Kelly (deceased)

If you have purchased a marriage at this church, we encourage you to review it to get the new information and see if any additional changes were made. Log in, click My Account, then click the My Orders tab to see your purchases and sort by the Modified column to put changed records at the top. If a change (other than a minor spelling change) was made to a record you purchased, an email has already been sent to you with the correction.

This is part of our mission to update our Easington-district marriages that are missing information.
